Yale University’s Payne Whitney Gym is truly one of a kind. Completed in 1932, the building is the second-largest athletics facility in the world, with 12 acres of floor space on 16 levels. The facility hosts rowing tanks, practice pools, locker rooms, basketball courts and practice rooms for every sport the university offers.
The Section 127 team led the project of reviving the renovated men’s and women’s basketball hallway, which also included a women’s volleyball component. This newly named hallway, Corridor of Champions, is home to team locker rooms and a dynamic film room, and serves as the main pathway for athletes competing in the John Lee Amphitheater.
