In 2017, we partnered with ALDI to develop in-store marketing for three of its most significant seasonal campaigns: Super Bowl, Back-To-School, and Thanksgiving.

With the ultimate goal of increasing sales in specific product categories, Section 127 developed taglines, marketing designs, and in-store signage specialized to each campaign, while staying true to ALDI’s established visual brand.

Big Game

Our Super Bowl campaign helped position ALDI as a one-stop shop for customers’ upcoming Super Bowl Sunday and visually reminded shoppers of their party-planning needs in the month leading up to the Big Game. We utilized a series of playful football illustrations, vibrant food photography, and headlines to hold the attention of the consumer.

Fall Festivities

Our Fall Holiday campaign for ALDI helped the chain promote itself as the first option for healthy and traditional selections during the Thanksgiving season. We developed a library of colorful woodcut-inspired fall imagery, charming photography that evokes a sense of tradition, and headlines with inspired wordplay to paint a picture of the season for ALDI shoppers.

Back-To-School

The concept we developed for ALDI’s 2017 Back-To-School campaign promoted the store’s healthy and kid-friendly lunch and snack options for health- and wallet-concious parents. The campaign was driven by a collection of retro pop back-to-school illustrations, an unique approach for ALDI’s seasonal campaigns. The palette of bright colors and illustrations created a playful, vibrant personality also reflected in the taglines.
